In addition to the trips we took to Auburn and Dallas this past year, David and I made visits to Chicago, Hawaii, and California. In Hawaii we stayed on Waikiki and took side trips to Kuai, the island of Hawaii, and toured the island of Oahu.

We took a bus trip through California, hitting highlights from San Francisco through Sonoma and San Joachim Valleys, Yosemite National Park, Monterey, the Pacific Highway, Big Sur, Carmel, the Redwood Forest, to Los Angeles.

Of course my brother, Tony, and sister-in-law, Melinda, have not been slouches in the trips department, having taken cruises to Sweden and Russia, the Caribbean, to celebrate Melinda's parents' 60th wedding anniversary, and having flown to Hawaii where they stayed two weeks.
